In Chacraseca, there are 13 schools, and each one has a "comedor," or dining room. In these dining rooms every student who goes to school receives a meal. Nicaragua is a poor country, and having the ability to give at least one meal a day to their children is a huge incentive to send kids to school.

Monetary unit

Gold cordoba. The change cordoba/dolares is fixed by Banco Central; now is 20.34100 Cordobas for 1 dollar.
